Match: Peru vs Scotland
Competition: International Friendlies
Time / Date: 04:00h / 30 May 2018
Venue: Estadio Nacional de Lima
Peru accepts Scotland as it aims to consolidate the good results from March where it defeats Croatia and Iceland with two goals margin both teams. Ricardo Gutierrez and his players qualified for the World Cup in Russia after 36 years, finishing with three wins and three draws in the last six games.
On the other side, Scotland did not qualify for the World Cup in Russia. So far, they played three friendly games with two losses 0: 1 from Costa Rica and Netherlands and One win against Hungary with the same result.
The only match between these two teams is in 78 when they meet in the World Cup where Peru wins by 3: 1
The hosts are unbeaten in the last seven games if we count the last two with Croatia and Iceland. They are without Paolo Guerero who will miss the world because of a drug test failure (there are rumours that FIFA might actually give him the chance to feature the competition). Still they have Farfan and I expect a home win with at least two goals margin.
