Match: Real Madrid vs Liverpool
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Time / Date: 21:45h / 26 May 2018
Venue: NSK Olimpijs’kyj, Kyiv.

The entire football world is waiting for the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool, a real show awaits us at The NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev.

In recent years, the Reds have not even come close to Real Madrid when we talking about the UEFA Champions League, and this is their first final since the loss of Milan 2007 Champions League final. But I think we all remember the spectacular turnaround against the same rival in Istanbul in 2005 that achieved Merseyside.

On the other side, Los Blancos won 13 of 15 finals in this tournament but their last loss was against this rival. Ronaldo and company chase a record after winning two consecutive finals of the Champions League, here they will try to make them three in a row.

Zinedine Zidane’s team is not in the best form lately, having only one victory in the last five (3D, 1L) games and allowing Villareal to tie them up in the last match in La Liga from 0:2 to 2:2, also their stability at the back is not the most impressive, but with attacking power which scored 30 goals in the UEFA Champions League till now is covered with defensive holes.

Speaking of an attack, we can’t miss to mentioning the Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane who have scored 31 goals between them in the Champions League this season. But they also have to cover their defence which allowed six goals in the previous round against Roma.

Ádám Bogdán (Cruciate Ligament Rupture), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Knee injury), Emre Can (Back Injury), Joel Matip (Hamstring Injury), Joe Gomez (Ankle surgery)

This is the four meeting in the Champions League during these decades between the two teams. Liverpool won twice in 2009 (1:0, 4:0), with Real Madrid returning it in 2014 (3:0, 1:0). Their first meeting was in 1981 where they played the final in this tournament where the Reds won.

When we hear the names of these two teams, everybody presents their goals and this is no accident. So far they have scored 70 goals in total (40 Liverpool, 30 Real Madrid). And in this match I do not expect to be different, so the goals are guaranteed.

But Ronaldo, Marcelo, Ramos, Kroos and everyone else in the team are very well picked up and their teams have been eliminated so far, such team as Juventus, Bayern Munich, PSG, and they seem to me for sure as a reliable team to take a third straight trophy.
